ANNA'S BABY SHOWER | 10.22.16

This was an untraditional baby shower for the untraditional couple. Anna wanted a baby shower that was laid back yet detailed so that guests can feel comfortable yet feel their gratitude towards them for celebrating soon-to-be born Baby Alyssa.  

The baby shower took place in private room at a Biergarten in Long Island City. It had charm and the couple love the food there (and that's what matters most). The next question to tackle was-how can we decorate the room  so that it wouldn't be a smack-you-in-the-face-this-is-obviously-a-baby-shower, event. With subtle shades of pinks here and there, we were able to execute it seamlessly.  

Anna and her baby bump were showered with love and gifts and Anna wanted to reciprocate by creating a curated gift box for her guests. In her thank you note, she incorporated one her favorite movie's song lyrics. Do you know where it's from? Hint: It's from the Sound of Music. 

This was such a fun baby shower to plan-from the details to the big picture, I loved it!
